Block Rate

BLOCK RATE CREDIT (BRC). Block Rate is a discount credit available only to students committed to completing their training program who make payments in blocks of $1,500, applied toward the aircraft rental and instruction charges described in Pay As You Go and Rate Sheet A. A $150 block rate discount credit is issued on each $1,500 block deposited.

BRC is a program-completion credit: it is not redeemable in cash, and can only be applied toward the cost of flight training and aircraft rental at OCFC. Block Rate Credits are not counted toward the Course Completion Discount Credit.

To purchase blocks online, add Block Rate Credits to your cart on the Enroll page — an OCFC representative will contact you to arrange payment.

PLEASE NOTE. To avail of any discount or discount credit, a student's account must be in good standing at all times — it cannot carry a negative balance at any time during the training period. All education discounts are credited to individual accounts based on fees actually paid and spent, at the completion of 40 hours of training only. Any discount offered by OCFC, whether written or verbal, is not an obligation but at the sole discretion of OCFC. E-Programs cannot be combined with any other discounts or credits offered by OCFC at any time.
